Creating a Tracking URL
-
Create the Source
-
You will need to have the Source set up in your Sources area. To do that, click the + symbol on the far right of your top navigation in Salesforce. This will open a page with a full list of tabs. Click on Sources. Next, click Go next to All to view all of the sources you already have set up (you don't want to create duplicates). Click New Source to create the new source. All you need to fill out is the Source Name and to check off Active and Viewable On Job Board. Then click Save and you're finished with creating the source.

Create the Tracking URL
-
Go to the job order that you are going to post to an external site. Once you access the job order, click Tools in the green menu bar at the top of the job order, and then click Tracking URL on the left of the menu that expands down. Choose your site (Job Board), and then choose the Source you will be posting the job to. All that is left to do is click the Create URL button on the bottom right. This will create the URL that you should instruct candidates to apply to on the respective site you are posting to. NOTE: This URL should ONLY be used for that one specific job AND that one specific Source. If you are posting this particular job to another Source as well, simply choose the other source from the Source dropdown again and repeat these steps. You want to be sure you generate a new URL for each job AND each source, because the unique URL is what is going to tell Jobscience where the user is coming from.
