Install Google Analytics for Job Boards

If you are using Google Analytics, and would like to track job board traffic through Google Analytics, follow these instructions. Ensure you have your UA Number / Web Property ID handy for the following steps.

Add the Tracking Tag in the Site Template

  1. Navigate to Setup > Develop > Sites > Site Label.

  2. Go to Site Template.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Add following tag to the header: <site:googleAnalyticsTracking/>

  5. Click Save.

Add the Tracking Code to the Site

  1. Naviage to Setup > Develop > Sites.

  2. Go to the Site Label.

    • e.g. Careers

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Fill in the Analytics Tracking Code field.

    • Use this field to associate an analytics tracking code with your site.

    • To track your site using Google Analytics, paste the web property ID (also known as the UA Number) into this field and click save.
