Setting a File As Private
Learn how to make a file private, and share it with specific users if needed.
By default, every file you upload to a record is public. Depending on your entitlements, you can make a file private — visible only to you, or to a specific set of users you choose. You can only privatize one file at a time.
You can make private files for the following entities:
- Candidates
- Contacts
- Companies
- Jobs
- Opportunities
- Placements
You can only privatize one file at a time. Keep in mind that the your administrator may have the ability to see all private files.
