Before You Begin

Ranking Groups are created by Bullhorn for Salesforce Administrators. The following values are common examples of configured Rank Groups: "Gold, Silver, Bronze", “Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3, Rank 4, Rank 5”, or "Suitable, Reserve, Other". Administrators will customize the values to suit your business processes.

Rank Groups are then associated with Job record types. Different Ranking Groups are associated to different Job record types or the same Ranking Groups are used for all Job types. Ranking Groups are assigned and can be viewed on the ATS screen of a Job, either as the group name or an icon.

Assigning Rank Groups

You can sort candidate records in ascending or descending Ranking Group order by selecting the Ranking Group column title. Follow these steps to assign a Ranking Group for a Job to one or more candidates:

  1. Select the ATS view. If any candidates already have a Ranking Group assigned, the Rank is shown.
  2. Check the box next to the Candidates you want to assign a Ranking Group (this can include candidates that already have a group assigned).
  3. Select Actions > Assign Ranking Group. The Selected candidates are displayed with the current Ranking Group assignment.
  4. Select a Ranking Group from the list. The number of options and naming conventions used for the Ranking Groups depend on how Bullhorn for Salesforce is configured for your Org.
  5. Click Save.

Individual candidates will not be listed if you select a large volume of candidates to assign a Ranking Group to. Instead, you will receive a confirmation that the selected Ranking Group has been applied to the selected number of candidate records.
