Managing Task Templates

Task templates assist you in creating tasks faster. For example, if you have a standard checklist of items to cover each time you follow-up with a candidate and want to make note of those in each task you create, you can create a template for a follow-up task and then use that template whenever you create follow-up tasks.

Task templates that have a visibility setting of Public can be edited and deleted by any user in your company.

Adding Task Templates

Select the + Add button.

Choose Task.

On the Add Task screen, select Task Templates.

Click New.

Fill out your task template as desired. Be sure to include a template name, the proper visibility setting, and the content of your template.

Note: Task templates with a visibility setting of Public can be edited and deleted by any user in your company.

When you are finished, select Save.

After clicking Save, you'll be back on the Add Task screen where you can select your new template.


Editing and Deleting Task Templates

  1. Select the + Add button.
  2. Choose Task.
  3. On the Add Task screen, select Task Templates.
  4. Click Organize.
  5. Select the name of the task template you want to edit or delete.

On the Edit Task Template screen, you can edit the selected template or delete it using the trashcan icon.
