Files in Your Workflow
Including files in your workflow allows you to capture the total number of files attached to your records.
You can take this a step further by customizing the specific type of file that you want to trigger your workflow icon. For example, you can specify a file type of Sales Documents which will light up when files are added to a record with that type selected.

Files
Including [File] in your workflow system settings will add an icon on your records that is triggered when a file of any type is added to a record.
[File] is available for the following entities:
- Candidates - Using the candidateWorkFlowSteps system setting.
- Contacts - Using the clientContactWorkFlowSteps system setting.
- Jobs - Using the jobPostingWorkFlowSteps system setting.
- Opportunities - Using the opportunityWorkflowSteps system setting.

Customized Files
Including [File:____] in your workflow system settings will add an icon on your records that is triggered when a file with a specified type is attached to a record, where ____ represents your defined file type.
- Do not add a space after the colon. For example, [File:Sales Documents] is correct while [File: Sales Documents] is not.
- The file type that you specify must exist in the fileTypeList system setting.
[File:____] is available for the following entities:
- Candidates - Using the candidateWorkFlowSteps system setting.
- Contacts - Using the clientContactWorkFlowSteps system setting.
- Jobs - Using the jobPostingWorkFlowSteps system setting.
