Viewing and Reporting on Goals and Quotas
Learn how to view your own and your colleagues' goal progress, monitor quota attainment, and export goals and quotas data from Bullhorn ATS.

Viewing Your Own Goals
You can view the goals assigned to you from the Goals & Quotas list view, or from the My Activity dashboard card on Menu > My Dashboard.
My Activity displays:

All goals currently assigned to you.

Your attainment progress towards each goal.
Clicking the hyperlink for a goal opens an attainment history graph, so you can see how your performance has trended over time for that activity.
If you don't see the My Activity card on your dashboard, click Add Card in the upper-right corner and select My Activity from the list of options. If it's not in your list of options, contact Bullhorn Support to have it enabled.
Viewing Goals Assigned to Others
Managers and administrators can view goals assigned to other users directly from the Goals & Quotas list view.

Go to Menu > Goals & Quotas

On the list view, select the desired colleagues from the Users drop-down.

Click Save.
If department filtering is enabled for your account, you can also select departments from the Users drop-down to view goals by team. Contact Bullhorn Support to set up department filters.
Viewing Quota Attainment
You can view quota attainment on the Goals & Quotas list view, or via the Sales Performance dashboard card on Menu > My Dashboard.
Sales Performance Dashboard Card
The Sales Performance dashboard card acts as a leaderboard for your organization. It shows:

Total quota for the current quarter.

Total revenue attained for the current quarter.

Total number of deals (opportunities) with the statuses defined on the Configuring Goals and Quotas page.

The top 25 performing users, sorted from highest to lowest attainment.
If you don't see the Sales Performance card on your dashboard, click Add Card in the upper-right corner and select Sales Performance (under Opportunities). If it's not in your list of options, contact Bullhorn Support to have it enabled.
Quota List View Columns Reference
The columns in the table below are available on the Goals & Quotas list view. Use the Columns drop-down on the list view to add or remove the columns you want to display.

The name of the user. |

Department |
The primary department of the user. |

Date |
The quarter and year to which the quota applies. |

Quota |
The monetary value of the quota. This field can be inline edited. |

Attained |
The revenue the user has attained towards their quota, calculated by summing the deal values of all opportunities in the defined statuses. In most cases the defined status is "Closed – Won". |

% Attained |
The percentage of the quota that has been attained. |
|
Deal Count |
The number of opportunities that account for the revenue attained. Each number links to a filtered list of those opportunities. |
Exporting Goals and Quotas
You can export goals or quotas data as a CSV file for use in external tools or reporting.
To follow these steps, CSV export must be enabled for your user type. Contact Bullhorn Support to request this.
Go to Menu > Goals & Quotas.
Select Goals or Quotas using the toggle.
Filter and sort your list as needed.
Click the checkbox in the top left corner to Select All.
From the # Selected dropdown, choose Export as CSV.
FAQ
Why can't I see the My Activity card or Sales Performance card?
You may need to add these cards to your dashboard if you have not used them before. Click Add Card in the upper-right corner of your dashboard to select from all your available cards. If the card you need is not in your list of options, contact Bullhorn Support to have it activated for your account.
How can I see which opportunities are counted in a user's quota total?
The Deal Count column on the list view contains a hyperlink. Clicking this link opens a filtered list view of the exact opportunities contributing to that quota total.
Can I customize the columns on the Goals & Quotas list view?
You can add and remove columns from the Goals & Quotas list view using the Columns drop-down. Columns that don't appear in the drop-down by default can't be added — the available set is fixed.
