Sourcing Onboarding Fields

Overview

When creating fields, you can set them up so they will pull data from a source record in Onboarding, such as from a placement or employee record. This can help save employees time when completing their forms.

Sourcing Fields

  1. Navigate to the Onboarding tab.



  2. Select the Documents tab.



  3. Locate the document and select to open the document editor.

  4. Locate the field in the field bank and select to edit the field settings.



  5. Locate Source of Field and search for the source field by typing in the name of the field you wish to pull data from and select it from the picker list.



  6. Select Save to confirm your changes.



  7. The onboarding document will now pull the date from the record in Onboarding.
    • Only documents in the "Sent" status will start pulling from the source. If a user has a document in any other status when the field was sourced, the document will have to be reset to the "Sent" status.
