Configuring Branding and Initial Setup Process
The web app that your clients login to and the emails that are generated automatically by our system to Clients, pulls some content from the main Branding section in the Admin area of the
Professional Web app. Through this feature, you can add a company Logo, Login background image, and a Primary and Secondary colour. If you cannot view the Admin option, speak to your designated system administrator.Watch out for the requirements around the image file format (JPG, PNG, ICO etc), the dimensions of any images in pixels (px) and the actual size of the image files in MB. The minimum or maximum requirements are called out above the SELECT IMAGE option in most sections. Transparent company logos are better so that the background image and header colours are displayed through/around those images. Also, please avoid using white as your primary or secondary colours.
Your clients will be directed to the same web application login page that your Professional Users use but, as Client Users, their experience will be different once they log in. The look and feel of this page can be edited to display the background image and the company logo as well as an option to set the colour of the LOGIN button (this is inherited from the secondary colour).
The logo and primary colour will appear in the header of all automated emails that your customers received when you first grant them access to the portal, but also when you share specific Assignments with them.
Configuring Profile Templates
The Profile Template that you wish to use to display candidate data alongside the list of Candidates in the Client Portal, is selected as part sharing template. We'd recommend that you take an existing template, edit it and then use the SAVE AS option, giving it an obvious name so that it's use case is understood, to create a dedicated template for use when sharing Candidates in the Portal. As with the Sharing Settings, you can deviate from this template once you've shared the Assignment without affecting the template, so you may not need multiple versions for different clients or Teams.
Configuring Sharing Templates
Sharing Templates are built-in Systems Preferences and inherited into your Assignment when you are setting up Sharing. Here's an article on setting up and using those Sharing Templates.
Sharing Your First Assignment
We recommend you consider a simple approach initially, only sharing a shortlist of candidates and a minimal Profile on those Candidates. Slowly, as you get feedback from your customers and become more confident in the quality of data and how to best share that information, the module is flexible so that you can increase the complexity of Client Sharing.
Managing Client Portal Users, Password Resets etc
The
Executive Edition includes unlimited Client User Licenses with your subscription. You, therefore, do not need to worry about unassigning licenses so that they can be assigned to other Client Users as you do for your Professional Users. However, there are occasions where you might want to change the user, revoke their access to Assignments etc.
