External Source Metrics Dictionary

External Source Metrics are available to users of the Enterprise Edition of Bullhorn Analytics who have the Bullhorn ATS Search & Match feature.

This article lists and defines the standard External Source metrics available for Bullhorn Analytics. The Targetable? column indicates whether the metric can be used as a target. See Targetable and Non-Targetable Metrics for more information.

External Source Metrics

External Source Metrics provide visibility into how your team utilizes Bullhorn Search & Match to find talent outside of your existing database. These metrics help evaluate the ROI of external job boards and search tools by tracking the journey from an external search to a final placement.

Metric Name	Targetable?	Description
External Searches Run	Yes	The total number of external searches run in the timeframe.
Followed Searches Run	Yes	The total number of followed searches run in the timeframe.
Views for Externally Sourced Candidates	Yes	The total number of externally sources Candidates that were viewed in the timeframe.
Externally Sourced Candidates Added To Bullhorn	Yes	The total number of externally sources Candidates that were added to Bullhorn in the timeframe.
Avg Time To Fill (Contract) - Ext. Sourced Candidates	Yes	The average number of calendar days between the date added of the Job / Vacancy, and the date added of the associated Placement, for new Contract Placements created within the selected timeframe where the Candidate was externally sourced.
Avg Time To Fill (Perm/Direct Hire) - Ext. Sourced Candidates	Yes	The average number of calendar days between the date added of the Job / Vacancy and the date added of the associated Placement, for new Perm / Direct Hire Placements created within the selected timeframe where the Candidate was externally sourced.
Total Placements - Ext. Sourced Candidates	Yes	The total number of Placements created in the selected timeframe where the Candidate was added from an external search.
