About GDPR Support

As part of Bullhorn’s commitment to the General Data Protection Regulation, there are several product updates available to you. This article outlines these features. Please view Bullhorn’s Commitment to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Available Features

  • Opt-In and Consent Management
  • About Encrypted Fields
    • You can use encrypted fields to store sensitive data.
    • Every six months, GDPR Admins will see a top banner message in Bullhorn asking them to confirm they're properly storing candidate data in field maps. When the admin selects Confirm, this is recorded in the system.
  • Candidate, Contact, or Lead Erasure
    • Users that have GDPR Admin entitlements will see the Erase Candidate (or Contact or Lead) option in the Actions menu. This option allows admins to anonymize people's records in the system.
    • The Submissions tab won't display binoculars beside candidate data when a candidate is anonymized.
  • Export Management
    • Export SMS Messages: The Actions menu on individual Candidate, Contact, and Lead records will include an Export SMS Messages option. This exports inbound SMS messages sent by people in your database. You can use it when a person requests their data from your system.
    • Export Emails: The Actions menu on individual Candidate, Contact, and Lead records will include an Export Emails option. This exports inbound emails sent by people in your database. You can use it when a person requests their data from your system.
  • Encrypted Files
    • Secure URLs in Emails

    • When file attachments exceed the maximum value in an email, the URL that takes users back into Bullhorn uses “https” rather than “http”.
