Bullhorn provides several features to help you manage personal data, respond to data requests, and maintain compliance with GDPR regulations. Use this guide to find the right tool for your task.

Available Features
Opt-In and Consent Management
Configure default opt-in settings for SMS and mass mail, track consent responses on records, and send consent request emails to collect compliance data from candidates and contacts.

Encrypted Fields
Store sensitive data in a secure, encrypted format at the database level. This ensures that even if your data is exported or backed up, the information remains protected.
Data storage reminders: Every six months, GDPR Admins will see a top banner message in Bullhorn asking them to confirm they're properly storing data. When the admin selects Confirm, this is recorded in the system.

Encrypted Files
Use file encryption for sensitive documents stored as file attachments on records. When encryption is enabled, a lock icon appears next to any encrypted file so users know they're viewing sensitive information.
Secure URLs in Emails: When file attachments exceed the maximum value in an email, the URL that takes users back into Bullhorn uses “https” rather than “http”.
