Adding New Substatus Values to Stages

Adding a Substatus

  1. Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects.
  2. Go to the Label Job Order.
  3. Under Related Look Up Filter look for Application, Interview, Submittal, etc.
  4. Click on the name of the designated stage, where you would like to add the Substatus.
    • For example, click on the object Application if you would like to add or edit the sub-status under Application
  5. Scroll down to Custom Fields & Relationship and select the Substatus Field Label (do not click edit).
  6. At the bottom, select Edit to edit existing values or New to create a new value.
  7. When creating a new values, enter the new field values in the box and select the appropriate record types by selecting them below the box.
    • If you do not select the record types, your new values will not be available.
  8. After you have made sure you selected the record type values in step 5 above, click Save.
