AMS Reporting

New in AMS V 2.330, we enabled functionality to track how records through the AMS process. This functionality does not capture existing AMS moves, only future ones. The functionality works off a new field added to the Activity object and configuration via the AMS Setup tab (sometimes labeled Enhanced AMS). This configuration should be completed via Jobscience Support, Jobscience Partner, or an Internal Admin at the customer.

  1. Access the AMS Setup tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the section labeled 'Activity Substatus Setting'. You will click New to configure for the first time or Edit to modify the existing options.
  3. In the first text entry area, you will enter the value of the new Stage/Substatus.
    • Example, when an AMS record is moved, and Activity is created. The subject of this Activity resembles of the format of: 'Move from Application: to Placement: Hired' 'Application' is the Stage/Substatus moved from where 'Placement:Hired' is the Stage/Substatus moved to. You want to notate the later part into this first text entry area.
    • We also recommend capturing the 'to' in order for the system to understand it was moved to this Stage/Substatus; 'to Placement: Hired' would be the value for this example.
  4. For the second text entry area, this is the value of your Activity field. In the above example, you may want to use the value 'Hired' to note the AMS record is now in a Hired Substatus.
  5. Repeat steps 3&4 as necessary, to capture the desired information. Remember this data will only collect for AMS records moving forward, it does not historically update already created Activity History.

You are now welcome to create an Activity report. We recommend the Report Type 'Activities with Contacts'.
