Amplify Dashboards: Chat / Assistant Tab
The Chat / Assistant tab of the Bullhorn Analytics prebuilt Amplify Impact & Adoption Dashboards shows how your team is using Amplify Chat and Amplify Assistant. Use it to track adoption over time, find your power users and non-adopters, connect usage to submissions and placements, and review the prompts and conversations your team uses.
This dashboard is only available to Bullhorn Amplify customers.

Dashboard Panels
Chat/Assistant Deployment
An Impact Comparison Panel that uses a bar chart to compare Chat / Assistant activity in the selected timeframe against the previous period across four measures: Conversations, User Messages, User Days and Unique Users. Each measure shows the current period against the prior period. Use this panel to see whether adoption is growing. Higher values are better for all four measures.
See Reading the Panel for more information.
Clicking anywhere on this panel opens a grouped view of all the panel's metrics, organized by category with a percentage change badge shown for each group. See Impact Comparison Panel Clickthrough Navigation for details.
Each section corresponds to the following metric:
- Conversations: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for Chat/Assistant: New Conversations.
- User Messages: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for Chat/Assistant: User Messages.
- User Days: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for Chat/Assistant: Unique User Days.
- Unique Users: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for Chat/Assistant: Unique Users.
Top Users: Unique User Days
A Leaderboard Panel that ranks users by the number of days each user was active in Amplify Chat and Amplify Assistant, from most to fewest. Each user is counted once per day they are active, so the ranking reflects how regularly they use Chat / Assistant. Use this panel to identify the users who engage most consistently. Ranked by: Chat/Assistant: Unique User Days.
Non-Adopters: Unique User Days
A Leaderboard Panel that ranks users by the number of days each user was active in Amplify Chat and Amplify Assistant, in ascending order, so the users who use Chat / Assistant least appear first. These are not necessarily users with no activity. Use this panel to identify the users who use Chat / Assistant least. Ranked by: Chat/Assistant: Unique User Days.
Reach out to the users at the top of this list to find out whether they need training or support.
Chat/Assistant: Placement Impact
A Ratio Panel that shows the percentage of total placements in the selected timeframe that were assisted by Chat / Assistant, compared against the previous period. A higher percentage is better. Use this panel to see how much of your placement activity Chat / Assistant is involved in. The panel displays the ratio Chat Impact.
For the ratio definition, see the Ratios section of the Amplify Chat / Assistant Metrics Dictionary.
Key Metrics Assisted by Chat/Assistant: This Period vs Last Period
An Impact Comparison Panel that uses comparison bars to compare the submissions and placements assisted by Chat / Assistant in the selected timeframe against the previous period. Higher values are better for all three measures. Use this panel to see whether Chat / Assistant is helping to drive submissions and placements.
Clicking anywhere on this panel opens a grouped view of all the panel's metrics, organized by category with a percentage change badge shown for each group. See Impact Comparison Panel Clickthrough Navigation for details.
The panel tracks the following measures:
- CVs Sent / Client Submissions: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for CVs / Client Subs: Chat/Assistant Assisted.
- Shortlists / Internal Submissions: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for Internal Subs: Chat/Assistant Assisted.
- Placements: A Period vs Prior Period comparison for Placements: Chat/Assistant Assisted.
Chat/Assistant: Conversations by Source
A Small Data Grid, displayed as a pie chart, that shows where new Conversations were started in the selected timeframe: Global Chat, or the type of record the Amplify Assistant was opened on (for example, Candidate, Company, Contact or Job). Use this panel to see how your team uses Chat and Assistant. The panel shows the metric Chat/Assistant: New Conversations, broken down by Conversation source.
Saved Prompt Scoreboard
A Small Data Grid that lists the saved prompts used to start Conversations in the selected timeframe, with the number of times each was used, in descending order. Saved prompts are the prompts saved in Prompt Studio, including the default prompts provided with Amplify. They can be used in Chat and Assistant. Prompts that users save at their own individual level in Chat are not counted.
The panel only counts prompts that individual users run themselves. Prompts run through Automation are not included. To view them, see the Automation Enrich: Prompt Scorecard in the Automation Skills Tab.
Use this panel to see which saved prompts your team uses most, and which are rarely used. The panel shows the metric Chat/Assistant: Saved Prompts by prompt name.
Review rarely used saved prompts to see whether they need improving or promoting to your team.
% Saved vs Ad Hoc Prompts
A Ratio Panel that shows the percentage of new Conversations that were started by selecting a saved prompt. Use this panel to see whether your saved prompts are meeting your team's needs. A higher percentage generally means they are. A lower percentage means more Conversations started from ad hoc prompts typed in by the user. The panel displays the ratio % Saved vs Ad Hoc Prompts.
For the ratio definition, see the Ratios section of the Amplify Chat / Assistant Metrics Dictionary.
Chat/Assistant: Avg User Messages per Convo
A Ratio Panel that shows the average number of user messages entered for each new Conversation, displayed as a ratio. For example, 1.72:1 means 1.72 user messages for each Conversation. Use this panel to check how much refinement Conversations need. The panel displays the ratio Chat/Assistant: Avg User Messages per Convo.
A very high number can indicate that your saved prompts need more work. A number close to 1:1 can indicate that users try once and do not refine the result.
For the ratio definition, see the Ratios section of the Amplify Chat / Assistant Metrics Dictionary.
Performance Snapshot
A Performance Snapshot Grid that shows the key Chat / Assistant metrics and ratios by group and user. Use this panel to compare adoption across teams and individuals. Expand a group to see the users within it. Scroll across to see all columns. The grid shows the following metrics and ratios:
- Chat/Assistant: New Conversations
- Chat/Assistant: User Messages
- Chat/Assistant: Unique Users
- Chat/Assistant: Unique User Days
- Chat/Assistant: Global
- Chat/Assistant: On Record
- Internal Subs: Chat/Assistant Assisted
- CVs / Client Subs: Chat/Assistant Assisted
- Placements: Chat/Assistant Assisted
- Chat Impact (ratio)
- Chat/Assistant: Avg User Messages per Convo (ratio)
Chat/Assistant: All Conversations in Timeframe with Summaries
A Small Data Grid that lists every Conversation started in the selected timeframe, with its owner, created date, title, source and summary. Use this panel to review how your team uses Chat and Assistant. The summary is an AI-generated summary of the Conversation. The grid can be exported for further analysis. The panel shows the metric Chat/Assistant: New Conversations. For attribute definitions, see the Conversation Attributes section of the Amplify Chat / Assistant Metrics Dictionary.
