Change Time & Date for Tempo

The Tempo application pulls time and date information for punches from the tablet itself. If the time or date is incorrect, it may be necessary to adjust the time and date on the tablet.

This article contains the instructions to change the time or date for your Tempo Hardware.

Before you begin

There are two user profiles installed on Bullhorn Time & Expense supplied devices.

  1. Clockuser- provides access to the Tempo application only. All other functions are disabled.
  2. Clockadmin- provides non-restricted access to configure device options.

In order to update time or date, you must log out of the Clockuser profile and access the Clockadmin profile.

Steps

  1. Enter Manager Mode.
  2. Need help accessing Manager Mode? See Access Manager Mode.
  3. Touch Technical Menu.
  4. Touch Exit Clock, to sign out the Clockuser profile.
  5. Slide up on the windows log in screen.
  6. Select the Clockadmin.
  7. Please contact Bullhorn Time & Expense Support for assistance with the password for ClockAdmin.
  8. Swipe in from the right edge of the display and touch Settings.
  9. Touch Change PC settings.
  10. Touch Time and language and you will see the time and date displayed.
    • If you choose to set time automatically, confirm that the Set time automatically option is turned On and in the right position. You may need to adjust the Time zone settings to match your current location.
    • If you choose to set time manually, confirm that the Set time automatically option is turned Off and in the left position. Touch Change date and time to manually set the details for your device. Touch Change when you are done.
  11. Confirm that the time and date are correct.
  12. Touch the white Windows logo to open the start menu.
  13. Touch Clockadmin in the upper right.
  14. Touch Clockuser to sign in to that profile again.
    • The Tempo application will launch automatically.
