Wi-Fi Not Showing on Tempo

Overview

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to update the Wi-Fi drivers on your Tempo. This typically needs to be done if the Wi-Fi is not showing on the Tempo, but is showing and connected to other devices.

Steps

If your Wi-Fi has recently been updated and your Tempo has stopped connecting to the network since the update, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Intel driver website.
  2. Find the appropriate Windows 10 64-bit driver and download it to the flash drive.
  3. Safely eject the flash drive using the windows device menu.
  4. Insert the flash drive to the USB port on the back of the Tempo.
  5. From the Tempo, enter Manager Mode > Technical Menu > Exit to Windows > Sign in as Clock Admin.
  6. Contact Bullhorn Time & Expense Support for the Clock Admin Password.

  7. Once signed in, find the Flash Drive within File Explorer.
  8. Right-click Download and select Run as Administrator.
  9. The Tempo will restart. Reenter Manager Mode > Technical Menu > Exit to Windows > Sign in as Clock Admin.
  10. Select Start Menu > Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
  11. Find and connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  12. Verify that the Tempo is connected and sign out of Clock Admin to Clock User.
  13. Remove the flash drive and ensure the clock is connected to Bullhorn Time & Expense by navigating to Manger Mode and checking that Connection to Peoplenet says Success.
