Connect Tempo to Wireless Network

Overview

Depending on your configuration, you may be required to manually connect your Tempo hardware to a local wireless (Wi-Fi) network to send punch details to Bullhorn Time & Expense.Follow these steps to connect or reconnect to a local wireless network.

Steps

  1. Touch the time in the upper left corner.
  2. Touch the Manager Mode button.
  3. Enter the Manager Pin (The default pin for Manager Mode is 1793).
  4. Touch Technical Menu.
  5. Touch Exit to Windows to sign out of the Clock User profile.

You must contact Bullhorn Time & Expense Support for the password of the Clockadmin profile.

  1. Swipe in from the right and touch Settings.
  2. Touch Available in the lower right.
  3. Touch the network name you want to use. If prompted to Connect automatically, select this option.
  4. Touch Connect.
  5. Enter the network security key or password.
  6. Touch Next.
  7. Touch Yes when prompted to find or automatically connect to other devices.

Connecting to a hidden network

  • Touch Hidden Network.
  • Touch Connect
  • Enter the name of the network.
  • touch Next.
  • enter the password (security key).
  • Touch Next

You will see Connected as the status If the connection is successful.

You will also see the connection strength indicated. The more bars the stronger the signal. If your connection is too weak, the Tempo may have challenges sending punches to Bullhorn Time & Expense

After connecting the device to a wireless network, you are ready to sign back into the Clockuser profile to use Tempo again.

  1. Touch the white Windows logo to open the start menu or swipe in from the right edge of the screen and touch Start.
  2. Touch Clockadmin in the upper right.
  3. Touch Clockuser to sign in to that profile again.
  4. After signing in, the Tempo application will launch automatically.
