Tempo Touchless User Guide

Overview

The following is a list of settings and configurations in the Bullhorn Time & Expense Tempo clock that are considered “touchless or touch-light.” BTE’s touchless offerings can be utilized by combining Facial Recognition, QR Code, and one or a combination of punch flows, In/Out Mode and Based on Last Punch.

Requirements

  • Site is setup for Tempo with version Tempo 3.5.0.0 (or higher).
  • Tempo has an attached camera.

Other Things to Know

What features are NOT supported with Tempo Touchless?

  • Email and Text of timecard are not supported for Tempo Touchless. This feature requires a lot of touching and there is no easy solve for this at this time.
  • New employee registration is not supported for QR codes with touchless flow. QR Code feature requires the employee to have already passed through the refresh and into TMC. The site or clock administrator would then need to generate a QR Code in TMC to print, email, or text to the employee. There is no way to generate a new employee QR Code outside of the time management console.

What about Break Exceptions?

Break Exceptions are supported on Tempo Touchless features. However, they are NOT touchless. If the client is utilizing BTE’s Break Exception feature, there are two options on how to ensure compliance is maintained:

  • Configure the rule to prompt for employee resolution at the clock. This will require the employee to touch the clock to provide a response.
  • Create a new Break Exception rule, but disable the prompts on the clock. This will prevent the employees from needing to answer why they have a break exception, but will still apply the exception to the employee timecard. Administrators will then have to follow up with the employee to determine if the exception was voluntary or involuntary, and then answer it through the Time Management Console.
