Running, Exporting, and Sharing Bullhorn Reporting (Previously Canvas) Reports
Once you have a Bullhorn Reporting report built you can run the report directly within Bullhorn. You also have the option to export each report to a PDF document or a CSV file as needed.
You may also share Bullhorn Reporting reports with other Bullhorn users and/or departments in your corporation to give them access to run the report at any time.
Running and Exporting Reports
Users that have the entitlement to run Bullhorn Reporting reports can also export the reports.
- From your Bullhorn Menu, select Canvas.
- Locate the desired report and select Run.
- Input any reporting criteria.
- Select Finish and your report will display in Bullhorn.
Report Options
When you run a report you will see the following options in the top left corner:
- Run Report: Re-runs the current report. Any reporting criteria will have to be re-entered.
- Drill Down/Drill Up: Allows you to drill down/up on fields in the report to view or hide additional details.
- View in HTML Format: Allows you to export reports to a PDF, certain versions of Excel, and to a CSV file.
If your report is not exporting, check to see if it is being blocked by a pop-up blocker.
Right click anywhere in the report and select Freeze Column Headings to lock the column headers in place as you scroll through the report.
Sharing Reports
You may want to share out certain reports with other users and/or departments to provide important information to the right people at the right time.
A shared report will only display for the owner of the report and everybody that it was shared with.
Reports that are shared with a department can be run and exported by primary and secondary members of that department.
- From your Bullhorn Menu, select Canvas.
- Locate the desired report and select More, then select Properties to access the details of the report.
- You may also click the Add button to add a new report in order to access the sharing options.
- Select Shared next to Visibility. The Shared With field will appear below.
- Input the desired users and/or departments for sharing, then select Save.
You have now successfully shared out a report with your other users.
When a report is shared, it will display as Shared in the visibility column for the owner of the report and users it is shared with.
If a report is shared with a user who does not have the entitlement to add new reports, the Visibility column will be hidden.
