Usertype and Private Label Permissions

This article covers how usertype and private level permissions are taken into account when running reports in Bullhorn Reporting.

Access and Running Reports

Example

Let’s say you want to allow a recruiter to run a report but that recruiter does not have access to all departments. Will this be respected when they run the report?

In most cases, users will only be able to see information in Bullhorn Reporting that they can already see in Bullhorn ATS. This is due to "row level security".

Additional Information

There are some specific caveats and situations that apply because of the complexity involved:

  • If you have a report called "Candidates" that was just a list of candidates, each user who runs the report will only see the candidates they are entitled to in Bullhorn ATS.
  • Users can see Placement data itself but not related information if they do not have access. This means while you can see placement data for candidates you may not have access to, you cannot see their Name, Job ID, Personal Information, etc.
