Converting an Opportunity to a Job Record

Learn how to convert a qualified opportunity into an active job record.

Converting the opportunity carries its details over automatically, saving you time and keeping your data consistent. Notes and files don't transfer when you convert an opportunity to a job.

Converting an Opportunity to a Job

1. From the Opportunity List, on the preview slideout, click Convert to Job.

2. Complete the required fields.

   Job Title, Skills, Contact, Client Company, Job Description, and Employment Type (if there's a matching value) are auto-populated from the opportunity.

3. Click Save.

The job record is created, and the opportunity's status automatically changes to Converted.
