Submitting a Candidate to a Contact (Client Submission)
Referred to in Bullhorn as the "client submission" (also often called a sendout or CV sent), as with the internal submission, you should initiate this step from the job record.
If there are several contacts at a single company you wish to send a candidate to, you must change the message type of the email from Mass Mailing to Normal. This is because Bullhorn logs a separate submission for each contact listed in the To field. Upon changing the message type to Normal, a CC field displays that you can use for the additional contacts. However, the contact on the job must remain in the To field. Please note that changing the Message Type to Normal also disables the tracking device.
If you accidentally submit the wrong candidate to a contact, you can delete the client submission record from Bullhorn. Please note that deleting a client submission does not un-send the client submission email to the contact. You should email the contact again to let them know of the error.
After this step, Bullhorn automatically changes the candidate's submission status to Client Submission. For more about candidate submission statuses, view the Updating a Candidate's Submission Status article.
Note: If you’ve skipped the internal submission step, on the job record, from the Select an Action drop-down, select Add Client Submission and then select the candidate(s) to submit and click Next. Then proceed to step 4 below. |
