Managing Candidate References
Use the References tab on a candidate record to view and maintain the details of individuals acting as references during the hiring process.
To add or edit the reference questions that appear on this tab, see Adding and Editing Reference Questions
Add a Reference

From the candidate record, click the References tab.

Click Add Reference.

Enter the relevant details.

Click Save.
Edit a Reference

From the candidate record, click the References tab.

Click the Actions drop down to the left of the entry you want to update and select Edit.

Make your changes.

Click Save.
Delete a Reference

From the candidate record, click the References tab.

Click the Actions drop down to the left of the entry you want to remove and select Delete.

Confirm the deletion when prompted.
FAQ
Why can't I see or edit the References tab on a candidate record?
Access to reference information is controlled by your user type entitlements. Contact your Bullhorn Admin, who can raise a case with Bullhorn Support to enable the relevant entitlement. The options are:

View Reference: Allows you to view the References tab.

Add Reference: Allows you to add new entries.

Edit Reference: Allows you to edit existing entries.

Delete Reference: Allows you to delete entries.
